RADIESSE: Overview
RADIESSE dermal filler is made of unique, patented, calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel carrier. These microspheres initially perform as a filler, providing volume to give you a soft, natural look. Over time, your body will gradually absorb the gel carrier, but the very tiny, smooth microspheres will remain to keep your skin looking it’s best. The effects of Radiesse last 9 – 12 months.
RADIESSE: Procedure
RADIESSE dermal filler is injected into the deep layers of the skin or under the skin. After RADIESSE is injected, it immediately adds volume to contour, correct, and enhance your facial features. RADIESSE also stimulates the production of collagen around the injection area, so it actually helps your body create its own naturally younger look.
Radiesse is not intended for injection into the lips but can be used in nasal folds, marionettes, cheeks and earlobes. Radiesse is not used for the treatment of superficial fine lines and wrinkles. (Restylane, Juvederm, laser resurfacing, chemical peels).
RADIESSE: Recovery
With RADIESSE you can expect no downtime and no restrictions. This is the same as you might expect with any type of injection.
