Perlane® : Overview
Revitalize your appearance with Perlane® gel and restore the youthful contours of your face, smooth away wrinkles, and reduce the signs of aging—all with one procedure. Perlane® is similar to Resylane® in that they are composed of hyaluronic acid, except Perlane® has larger gel particles and is injected deeper into the skin than Restylane®. The effects of Perlane last 9 – 12 months.
Perlane® : Procedure
During the procedure Dr. Gray injects Perlane® deep into the skin to restore volume and correct moderate to severe deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth.
Perlane and Radiesse are not intended for injection into the lips and therefore cannot be used to treat superficial fine lines and wrinkles. Fine lines and wrinkles are treated with laser resurfacing, Botox and to a lesser degree, Restylane and Juvederm. Perlane and Radiesse can be injected deep into skin and under the skin.
Perlane® : Recovery
With Perlane® there is no downtime and no recovery. This is the same as you might expect with any type of injection.
