Pectoral Implants: Overview
One of the most desirable features a man can have is a larger, more defined chest that commands respect. However, many men are born lacking a portion of their chest muscle which inhibits them from building a sculpted, muscular chest despite years of weight training. For those men who wish to have a larger and more defined, sculpted muscular chest, then a pectoral implant may be the perfect procedure. This procedure is also used for those born with rib or bone abnormalities of the chest or those that have less muscle on one or both sides.
Pectoral Implants: Procedure
To insert pectoral implants, Dr. Michael W. Gray can go through the axilla (armpit), nipple/areola, or under the chest.
Pectoral Implants: Recovery
After the pectoral implant procedure, patients can return to work in a few days, but should refrain from strenuous activity for a few weeks.
