Chest Contouring: Overview
Dr. Michael W. Gray makes getting rid of excessive fat and tissue deposits on your chest easier and attainable for men of all ages. Chest Contouring involves reducing, shaping, defining and possibly tightening of the chest. Since dieting cannot spot reduce, and weightlifting only enlarges the chest muscles, the best method to reduce volume is using External Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction (EUAL) to remove fat and reduce breast tissue. Smart Lipo MPX can be added to the procedure if desired to produce even more reduction and contouring of the chest. Loose skin is not an issue after these procedures unless loose skin is present prior to the procedure. For those men who have loose (excess) skin of the chest (noted by skin hanging over the crease in the chest) Smart Lipo MPX can help skin tighten nonsurgically. Surgical tightening of the skin is an option as well. Men who have had this procedure report a boost in self-confidence both in their relationships and careers. Dr. Gray will review your options during your consultation and help you decide which procedure is best for you.
Chest Contouring: Procedure
During this procedure Dr. Gray uses a hand piece to harmlessly massage ultrasonic soundwaves through your skin to liquefy the fat cells. There are no incisions and the fat is removed via small puncture holes. Unlike traditional liposuction, this procedure allows Dr. Gray to remove greater amounts of fat with less bruising and discomfort. Patients describe the discomfort like a bruised muscle.
Chest Contouring: Recovery
After a chest contouring procedure, there are no restrictions or downtime.
